Lets see, first actual cards:
I picked up a Zendikar Rising pre-release kit. I think I might have done decently in the event after looking through my commons and uncommons. Value-wise from rares/mythics, I might have broken even? I did get two rare foils, so that was very cool. The one mythic I got, was the very single one I was interested in getting- Forsaken Monument It might go into an Eldrazi stompy build at some point. Shrug. Its a nice to have more than anything else.
On to two Arena screen shots.
This first one was in reaction to playing against mono-white lifegain, aka Soul Sisters. I don't HATE it as much as the Sac deck, but this one is freaking annoying. I've scooped plenty to it. However, this particular game, I was playing ramp. They didn't get off to the most blazing of starts, but still, enough to get me down to 5. I dropped Ugin, wiped the board on them... However, they exiled him, a bit of a sad face panda, but then I dropped a second Ugin. Even though they had 38 life, they scooped.
Second game was today, playing against, what I can only describe as reanimator. In a best of one context, seems decent. I was playing ramp again. They attacked my Ugin instead of Nissa and that allowed this to happen:
