DC Grand Prix, part 2 drafting

I participated in two on demand drafts. $10, single elimination. From a guy who had never played magic before, to people who dropped out of the GP due to too many losses. The range was all over the place.
I thought I drafted very well, two completely different decks, same results- first round losses. I think I actually played one game of magic through the four losses. It was continuing my streak of horrible land draws. (I drafted Shadows over Innistrad Friday night, and couldn't pull lands to save myself) It happens in Magic. I am not bitter, just annoyed.

I think I would have drafted a tad more if I had planned my day out a bit better. I know better for next time I do one of these things. On demand drafting is easy, relatively cheap, and if you draw land- fun.

Edit update: During my second draft, a judge was called even before the first game but after drafting. One of the people in the draft was using pre-sleeved lands. However, his were double sleeved. The judge said to either double sleeve everything or no double sleeves. Called it, "one of his pet peeves." Huh.

Here are the two decks I drafted, no bombs, no value cards. I did lose to a Glorybringer, so there is that.

Black White zombies, should have been more awesome

Red Blue tempo, usually works for me
